Last year, I suddenly lost my job. Although financial anxiety tried to overwhelm me, I continued trusting that God is my provider. I remembered Pastor Prince teaching that the Lord who feeds the sparrows will surely take care of us.
By His grace, commissions from deals I had previously closed continued coming in. Even though I had lost my job, God remained faithful and ensured those payments were honored.
At 61 years old, I knew finding another job would not be easy. Yet deep within, I sensed the Lord assuring me, “I will provide for you.”
I went through many interviews and rejections before one company continued pursuing me through five rounds of interviews. Finally, after four months of waiting, they offered me the role. The human resources manager later shared that all the interviewers had given me a unanimous “yes”.
God did not merely replace my previous job—He restored me with much more. I received a 46 percent increase in fixed salary, along with excellent benefits.
What amazed me most was this: I had been unemployed for exactly four months, and God provided four months of guaranteed commissions. He is faithful and truly a God of “much more.”
