When I was twenty-one, I injured my back doing gymnastics. For fourteen years, I suffered from back pain that would improve at times, but then randomly spasm, leaving me flat on my back for days. I went to so many different doctors and massage therapists, but nothing helped. It was especially hard because I’m a mom of three little kids now.

I’ve been listening to Joseph Prince for fifteen years, but only recently did I take a closer look at his teaching on the Holy Communion. Once I got a hold of that teaching, it was like something in me snapped. I became voracious! I’m a Gospel Partner and have access to so many sermons. By the end of my feasting on the sermons, there were twenty-three of them that I had marked under “healing” in my audio queue.

And I listened to each of them at least five or six times. I binged Joseph Prince sermons night and day. I stay at home with my kids, and the sermons played all day long in my house and in my AirPods at night.

My faith was so fueled. I couldn’t help but partake of the Communion multiple times a day. I would leave crackers and juice on my counter at all times, and my faith was just bursting. Every time I would see it, I would partake! Sometimes I even took it ten times a day. I couldn’t help it. And within three days, my miracle came!

I was vacuuming, and I felt a weird tension in my outer stomach muscle, the exact place that one doctor and one massage therapist pinpointed as being the culprit because it was very tight in me. It’s a long muscle called the psoas, and it connects near the top by the outer stomach, but runs down through your leg as well. It was the muscle that wasn’t stretched when I did gymnastics at twenty-one years of age. I hadn’t realized what was happening in that ordinary moment, but later I realized it was my healing.

I haven’t felt a twinge of pain since then, and it’s been two and a half years. Thank You, Jesus! I thought I’d live the rest of my life with a back issue for a mistake I made, but His healing is free, and He lavishes it on us when we seek Him.
