Pastor Prince began his message with a word of encouragement: no matter what you’re facing today, nothing is impossible with God.
Notice how the Scripture doesn’t say, “To God, nothing is impossible,” but “With God.” That one word, “with,” makes all the difference. It reveals both God’s limitless power and His desire to work in partnership with us.
Our heavenly Father does not work independently of us. He’s looking for people who will believe His Word, speak it, and pray in accordance with it—in essence, respond in faith. His power comes into play when we activate our faith!
This is why we often see miracles happen when believers gather to pray and command healing in Jesus’ name. It’s not because we have power in and of ourselves, but because the Lord’s power flows through us when we respond in faith.
We are coworkers with God (1 Cor. 3:9), not spectators. We’re participants in the miracles that we want to see. Our part is to trust, believe, and declare His promises, and our heavenly Father will supply His power and accomplish what only He can do: perform the miracle.
We find a beautiful example of this in the story of Abraham and Sarah. Hebrews 11:11 says,
This isn’t referring to the strength to carry through a pregnancy. It refers to the power to conceive. Sarah’s womb had aged and was beyond natural function, yet by faith, she received the ability to conceive seed. God didn’t just allow a pregnancy—He renewed her womb. This was a creative miracle, and it happened because Sarah believed God’s promise over her natural reality.
So, if you’re trusting God for a breakthrough today, remember this: if you have faith and continue to declare His promises over your life, even the impossible can become possible with Him!
Romans 4:17 NIV says,
In this verse, we see two powerful truths about how God works:
God spoke this promise to Abraham while Abraham and Sarah were still completely barren. Yet God said, “I have made you a father of many nations.” Isn’t that powerful? God wasn’t speaking of what might be—He was declaring what He had already established in the spiritual realm, even though nothing had yet changed in the natural.
Then God did something significant. He changed their names. Abram became Abraham, which means “father of many nations,” and Sarai became Sarah, which means “princess.” From that moment on, every time they spoke each other’s names, they were declaring God’s promise. Why did God do that? Because He was teaching them to speak not what they saw, but what He saw.
Faith speaks before the breakthrough. This is the heart of faith! Our Father simply wants us to trust Him, flow with Him, and speak His Word.
Man’s way is to speak what he sees. God’s way is to speak what He wants to see. The Bible tells us in Genesis 1 that in the beginning, God saw the darkness, but He didn’t speak about it. Instead, He called forth light, and light was. He calls things that are not as though they are.
Beloved, you are made in His image. That means your words carry power. You can speak light into dark places, hope into hopeless situations, strength into weak areas—not in your own strength, but through what our almighty God has promised in His Word!
If you’re going through a challenging situation or still waiting for your breakthrough, don’t give up. You’re not going to camp in that valley or low point—you’re walking through it with the Lord.
Even when the enemy whispers, “What are you going to do about this?”, don’t get caught up in fear and anxiety that will poison your life. Let them go and cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares deeply for you (1 Pet. 5:7).
The foundation of our faith and the confidence behind our declarations is the finished work of our Lord Jesus.
At the cross, the Lord bore the full weight of God’s judgment. He didn’t just bear our sins. He bore everything sin brought with it: sickness, fear, poverty, strife, and lack. And because of what He accomplished for us at the cross, we are forgiven, we are freed from sin’s power, and we have received the free gift of righteousness.
When He declared, “It is finished,” it meant that every hindrance between us and God had been removed!
Though we may still stumble and make mistakes, God does not impute those sins to us. Why? Because Christ has paid the price, and today, our Abba sees us in Him. Our righteousness isn’t based on what we’ve done or not done, but on our Lord’s finished work.
Rest assured that this is not a license to sin. Remember that a great price was paid for our sins. God’s holiness demanded judgment, and that judgment for all our sins has already fallen on our Lord Jesus. Now, God’s holiness is not against us—it’s on our side—and it is His holiness that has made us righteous.
Today, we are fully accepted. We can draw near to our heavenly Father—not with fear or shame, but with boldness. And this is the greatest blessing of all, nearness to our Abba Father!
But there’s even more! Our Lord Jesus has, first and foremost, given us salvation through His finished work. Yet His sacrifice didn’t just cover our sins—it was an overpayment that also opened the way for us to receive the abundant blessings of our heavenly Father.
Many believers are not walking in the fullness of these blessings because they don’t know these blessings are already theirs. Like someone unaware that they have a vast inheritance, they miss out, not because it hasn’t been given, but because they haven’t heard about it.
That’s why it’s so important to hear preaching about our inheritance in Christ. Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” If you don’t know what’s yours, you can’t enjoy it—even if it legally belongs to you.
So, let’s endeavor to lay hold of everything the Lord has already purchased for us at the cross!
*Here, Pastor Prince also shared a precious nugget from the story of Noah about how rest finds grace. For more on this, be sure to listen to the full sermon.
Before the enemy attacks your health, your joy, or your future, he often goes for your mouth. Why? Because our words have power. If he can shape your words, he can shape your world.
Have you noticed how today’s generation is often much looser with their words? Death and defeat seem woven into the everyday language we hear around us. People casually say things like, “I’m anxious,” “I’m depressed,” as if these feelings define who they are.
But our feelings are not our identity at all! We may feel fear, anxiety, or sadness, but in Christ, we are the righteousness of God. This doesn’t mean we ignore our challenges or pretend problems don’t exist. There is a place to acknowledge what we’re facing. But don’t camp there!
When we look at the psalms, we see that David often cried out to the Lord in distress. But he never ended with how he felt. He always proclaimed the truth of who God is and what He had promised. Likewise, even in the midst of what we are going through, don’t let our emotions define our speech.
Remember, our feelings will pass. Think of it like riding a sightseeing bus. As you journey, you may pass troubling or dark scenery, but you don’t stop there. Your emotions are like those sights—real, but not permanent. You acknowledge them, but you don’t have to dwell on them. Let God’s Word, not your emotions, shape your speech, and watch how faith begins to arise in your spirit, peace begins to anchor your mind, and His truth begins to take root in your heart.
As believers, we are not ordinary people. Our Lord Jesus described Himself as the Vine and us as the branches (John 15). In a vine, the branches and the vine are inseparable—they share the same life. We are one with our Lord Jesus, and His life flows in and through us.
The Bible also calls us kings and priests in Christ (Rev. 1:6) and says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power” (Eccles. 8:4). So our words carry both authority and power.
That’s why it’s so important to watch what we say. Beloved, what you speak over yourself carries more weight than what anyone else says about you. Notice how the first thing the Holy Spirit took hold of on the day of Pentecost was the disciples’ tongues. He wants to fill our mouths with heaven’s language and His power. We live in a generation where the enemy has hijacked the way we speak, but it’s time we take it back.
Child of God, your words can either agree with God’s promises or with the enemy’s lies. What are you saying about yourself or your situation today? Remember who you are and speak in alignment with your true identity in Christ!
In Mark 11:23, our Lord Jesus said,
See how the Lord used the word “says” three times, and “believes” only once?
Many believers are trying to believe harder, but the Lord shows us a different emphasis: what you speak is more important. It’s not just about believing quietly in our hearts—it’s about declaring boldly with our mouths.
While prayer is important, and there is time for that, there are times the Lord wants us to not just talk about the mountain but to speak to it. Whether it’s sickness, depression, fear, lack, or family tension, you can take your place in Christ and speak to it in His name! Don’t wait for God to act. He is waiting for us to speak. And He has already given us the authority. Start declaring what Jesus has already accomplished for you and watch Him bring them to pass!
So what does walking by faith actually look like in everyday life?
Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” The more you hear, the more you believe. And the more you believe, the more you will speak.
Be planted in a church that preaches the gospel. Hear messages that unveil our Lord Jesus and what He’s done for you. Let your heart be filled with truth and grace.
Then, activate your faith by speaking! Even if you do not see it yet, continue to declare God’s promises. Faith is not passive—it speaks, it grows, and it takes hold of everything Jesus has already won for us through His sacrifice.
Beloved, it’s time to start speaking by faith, trusting that our Abba will be faithful to bring His promises to pass, even when we might not see them now. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He will be faithful to perform His Word.
We hope these sermon notes blessed you! If they did, we encourage you to get the sermon and allow the Lord to speak to you personally as you watch or listen to it.
