My son was diagnosed with a fish allergy after he started eating solids as a baby. The allergy specialist we saw told us that while he might outgrow other allergies, a fish allergy is for life. We refused to accept this diagnosis and instead prayed and partook of the Holy Communion, as taught by Pastor Prince, believing that he would be supernaturally healed.
For years, we continued to pray for healing while remaining vigilant in our everyday lives. My son had to eat separately at school, and we always carried antihistamines and an EpiPen. While he did outgrow his other allergies early on, the fish allergy persisted just as the doctor had expected.
When he was six years old, I noticed that he was no longer reacting adversely to occasional accidental fish exposure, such as cross-contamination on a serving spoon at parties. We went back to the specialist for an exposure challenge. After a nerve-wracking day at the hospital, he was declared allergy-free! My son even told the doctor, “Jesus healed me!”, and the doctor replied that Jesus was good for him but “bad for business”.
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for unveiling Jesus’ heart for us to be supernaturally whole and well. We celebrate His resurrection life, knowing that as He is, so are we in this world. All glory to God!
