Recently, during a routine blood test, I noticed a significant drop in my estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)—an indicator of how well the kidneys filter waste. Concerned, I consulted a kidney specialist, who ordered a urine test and an ultrasound scan.
While the ultrasound showed no abnormalities, the urine test revealed a high level of albumin (a vital protein produced by the liver), well above the normal range. This could indicate a kidney condition. The doctor scheduled a repeat test a few days later.
During the wait, I was deeply troubled by the possibility of early-stage kidney disease. Although I prayed, I still struggled with worry.
However, during the Sunday service on 29 March 2026, Pastor Prince gave a word of knowledge about someone who had just received a medical report concerning their kidneys and declared that God had healed the person. When he repeated the word shortly after, I felt it was a personal assurance from the Lord, addressing my doubts.
In the following days, whenever negative thoughts about the future tried to creep in, I reminded myself that Jesus had borne my pains and sufferings. I declared that by His stripes, I am healed, healthy, and whole.
Shortly after, I returned to the clinic for my results. The doctor informed me that everything was back to normal and that there was nothing to worry about. All glory to God! I am so thankful to Jesus for healing my body.
