Recently, the weatherman had predicted a very bad storm with tornadoes and severe thunderstorms beginning on Friday night and going through Saturday.

On Friday, as I was listening to the weather forecast, I remembered a story Pastor Prince had told about an English lady whose house was unharmed during the bombings in World War II after she prayed Psalm 91. I decided to do the same for my county and declared that God would protect our county, my neighborhood, and my house from these terrible weather conditions.

That night, I went to bed with great peace. My husband, being the protector of the family, stayed up watching the weather, waiting for something to happen. We were told the worst would happen from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m., but by 2 a.m., it still had not even rained, and he went to bed.

When I woke up the next morning, my husband told me that as he was watching the radar, the storm literally went around the county that we live in. We did not have one warning! I knew it was Jesus protecting and keeping us safe.

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for the teaching on protection and for encouraging us to have faith that no matter what, God will protect us and keep us safe.
