My husband and I had not been able to get pregnant after six years of trying. We had been married for seven years. While we did not know the cause of our infertility struggle, we both strongly felt that in vitro fertilization (IVF) was something we did not want to pursue, as we wanted natural conception.
Finally, at the beginning of last year, at age thirty-eight, I decided to send a prayer request to Pastor Joseph Prince’s ministry. A month later, we found out we were expecting our first baby. We celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary, knowing a baby was on the way. God hears and answers prayers. Our baby boy arrived in December. Although the labor and delivery were difficult, God kept the baby and me safe through it.
I hope this encourages couples struggling with infertility and encourages women who feel they are getting too old to trust Jesus and His finished work for their miracle. I am thankful that Pastor Prince’s ministry has always encouraged couples trying to conceive to keep believing that God will provide. And I am thankful to Jesus for the sweet baby boy He gave us.
