Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit . . . For He [Jesus] said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”

The Gadarene demoniac was someone who was isolated, left alone, and shunned by people. He had no one to turn to. People were afraid of him and there was no one who could heal his condition—until Jesus came.

Jesus crossed the entire lake of Galilee just to heal this man, despite the devil trying to stop Him with a storm. He travelled a great distance just to minister healing to that man and set him free. That’s the kind of loving Savior He is!

Just as Jesus went a long way to heal one man, He went to great lengths, to the point of death, to purchase liberty, blessings, and health for you. No sickness or circumstance, however grave or disastrous, is greater than what He has already done for you!
